The NHL has named its three stars of the week

Why It Matters

The first star is Winnipeg Jets centre Mark Scheifele. Scheifele had six points in two games both of which the Jets won. The second star is Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin. Dahlin had sven assists in three games all of which the Sabres won. The third star is Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski. Werenski had seven assists in three games two of which the Blue Jackets won as they pulled to within four points of the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.
