The NHL has named its three stars of the week

Why It Matters
The first star is Washington Capitals goalie Logan Thompson. Thompson made 61 saves of the 62 shots that he faced for three wins and two shutouts to lift the Capitals to first place in league standings. The second star is Nashville Predators winger Filip Forsberg. Forsberg had seven points in three games all of which the Predators won. The third star is Boston Burins winger David Pastrnak. Pastrnak had three points in two games as the Bruins got three of their available four points in the standings.
