The NHL has named its three stars of the week

Why It Matters

The first star is Tampa Bay Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov. Kucherov had ten points in four games to help the Lightning clinch their seventh consecutive playoff berth. The second star is Pittsburgh Penguins centre Sidney Crosby. Crosby had six points in four game to extend the Penguins point streak to eight games and get them into the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. The third star is New York Rangers winger Artemi Panarin. Panarin had eight points in four games three of which the league leading rangers won.
