The Carolina Hurricanes have signed centre Seth Jarvis to an eight year contract extension
Why It Matters
Jarvis is a restricted free agent who had a career high 67 points in 81 games last season and nine points in 11 games in the playoffs. General Manager Eric Tulsky described Jarvis as a cornerstone player who took a huge step last season. Jarvis was drafted 13th overall by the Hurricanes in 2020 and to this point in his career has 146 points in 231 games and 27 points in 40 playoff games.
