The NHL has announced its three stars of the week

Why It Matters

The first star is Carolina Hurricanes centre Sebastian Aho. Aho had 11 points in three games all of which the Hurricanes won to climb to second place in the Metropolitan Division. The second star is New York Rangers winger Artemi Panarin. Panarin had five goals in three games two of which the Rangers won as they climbed into first place in league standings. The third star is New Jersey Devils defenseman Luke Hughes. Hughes had a goal in all three of the Devils games two of which the Devils won.
