X rays on the leg of Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert have come back negative

Why It Matters

The results of an X ray on Herbert’s lower right leg came back negative. Herbert was injured in the third quarter of the Chargers win over the Carolina Panthers. Herbert left the field on his own and went into a medical tent with trainers and did not miss a snap. Herbert then walked with a glaring limp after his post game press conference. The Chargers will stay in Charlotte during the week and practice at the University of North Carolina Charlotte before boarding a charter plane to Pittsburgh on Saturday to play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
