The NHL has named its three stars of the week

Why It Matters

The first star is Minnesota Wild winger Kirill Kaprizov. Kaprizov lead the league with eight points in four games three of which the Wild won pushing the Wild to within six points of the final Wild Card spot in the Western conference. Kaprizov had points in all four games. The second star is Boston Bruins winger David Pastrnak. Pastrnak had seven points in three games all of which the Bruins won as the Bruins padded their lead of the Eastern Conference standings. The third star is Vegas Golden Knights goalie Logan Thompson. Thompson won all three starts for the Golden Knights this week.
