The NHL has named its three stars of the week

Why It Matters

The first star is Vegas Golden Knights winger Mark Stone. Stone had eight points in three games all of which the Golden Knights won to get them into first place in the Pacific Division. The second star is Nashville Predators goalie Juuse Saros. Saros stopped 60 of the 62 shots that he faced in his two games both of which the Predators won and one of which was a shutout. The third star is Dallas Stars centre Matt Duchene. Duchene had six points in three games two of which the Stars won.
