The Green Bay Packers have signed quarterback Jordan Love to a four year contract extension
Why It Matters
Love was drafted by the Packers in the first round out of Utah State in 2020 and spent his first three seasons as the backup quarterback to Aaron Rodgers. Love became the Packers starting quarterback after Rodgers went to the New York Jets. Love got the Packers to the playoffs where they pulled off an upset of the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round before losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional.
