The Kansas City Chiefs have signed tight end Travis Kelce to a two year contract extension

Why It Matters

Kelce fell 16 yards short of an eight consecutive thousand yard season in 2023. Kelce missed the Chiefs first game with a knee injury and was being rested by the playoffs by Head Coach Andy Reid for their last regular season game. His seven consecutive 1,000 yard seasons are a record for an NFL tight end. Kelce has made nine consecutive Pro Bowls and is a four time first team all pro.
