The Utah Hockey Club have signed centre Tij Iginla to an entry level contract

Why It Matters

Iginla is the first player drafted by the Utah Hockey Club after their relocation from Phoenix has signed an entry level contract. Iginla had 47 points in 64 games for the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League and had 12 points in seven games for Canada at the under 18 world championships in which Canada won a gold medal. Tij Iginla is the son of Hall of Fame winger Jarome Iginla.
